The African American Automotive Association (AAAA) Celebrates Black History Month with the 2025 Hall of Fame Class Announcement

Jamal Warrick

As efforts to diminish the significance of Black History Month continue in the current political climate, the African American Automotive Association (AAAA) is taking a stand by shifting its annual Hall of Fame inductee announcement from Juneteenth to Black History Month. This annual tradition honors individuals whose contributions have shaped the automotive, transportation, and motorsports industries, ensuring that their legacies are recognized and preserved.

AAAA founder Chris Harris emphasizes the importance of this recognition: "The AAAA Hall of Fame is more than just an honor—it's a necessity. For too long, the contributions of African Americans in the automotive and motorsports industries have been overlooked. This Hall of Fame is a singular space where we preserve and celebrate our rich history, ensuring that the trailblazers who shaped this industry are recognized and remembered. Their stories inspire the next generation, proving that innovation, resilience, and excellence have always been a part of our legacy in the automotive world."
